While you’re outside and playing Pokémon Go you’ll really get to experience the weather as the mobile title is adding the elements.
Dynamic weather based on local patterns influences the game by increasing the odds of weather-appropriate Pokémon showing up, as well as making attack types more powerful. For example, Charizard’s fire spin works better on sunny days.
Developer Niantic has also announced that Pokémon such as Treecko and Torchic from the Hoenn region are now in the game, with more coming in the weeks ahead.
