This page contains the location of all nine collectible Pigments in the Frozen Wilds expansion for Horizon: Zero Dawn.
Pigments are found throughout The Cut and can be turned in at Song’s Edge to Sekuli for special reward boxes. If you find them during the quest For the Werak and give them to her, Sekuli will help Aloy gain recognition within the werak.
EditLight Salt Pigment
South of Song’s Edge is a small hot spring with a camp set up at it. This pigment can be found at the camp, just on the outskirts.
EditMedium Salt Pigment
For this pigment you will need to clear out the bandit camp in The Cut. The pigment can be found at the top of a small collection of springs.
EditDark Salt Pigment
At the hot springs in the center of the map, just east of Hollow Hall, you will find a small group of Watchers patrolling. The pigment is near them.
EditLight Crystal Pigment
Make your way to the Frostfigures, where the end of the “For the Werak” quest takes place. In the area with the final challenge is where this pigment is. Climb the central rock formation to collect it near the base of a tree.
EditMedium Crystal Pigment
North of the bandit camp along the main road is the location of this pigment. You can collect some Bluegleam along the way too!
EditDark Crystal Pigment
This pigment is at the top of the mountains at the Frostfigures, which is near the center of the map. You go here during the final challenege of the quest “For the Werak.” Approach the mountains from the north side and climb to the top to find this pigment.
EditLight Oxide Pigment
Grab this pigment during The Shaman’s Path at the second water bridge when you are down near the water by a ladder.
EditMedium Oxide Pigment
Head toward Longnotch on the main road and take the left fork to easily spot this pigment. This is along the path toward the story mission Firebreak.
EditDark Oxide Pigment
On the western side of the map is a small frozen pond with ice fishermen. Barely in the woods to the west is where you can find this pigment among the rocks.
